What we do on the day
After an inspection of the pond, we filter out water into our temporary pool and safely remove any fish and other aquatic life. This water is then aerated and left to flow through our filter to bring it to the best possible quality before it is filtered back into the original pond.
We then remove any blanket weed and any visible debris from the pond such as twigs and leaves. We use our specialist pond vacuum to remove any sludge and leftover debris at the bottom of the pond and then pressure washer all around to get deep into any nooks and crannies to give the pond that needed deep clean.
We clean and inspect the filter, removing any debris that may be inside and check for any hidden problems that may be harming your pond. We clean, or if needed, replace sponges and change UV bulbs to make sure your pond is going to stay looking beautiful and clean in the future. Filter cleans should be done around every 4 weeks.
Once empty, we can have a look at any repairs that need to happen to the liner of your pond and tidy up any plants in and around the pond.
We then fill the pond back up with clean treated water and make sure your filter is working well. Water from the temporary pool is then flushed back through the filter and back into the existing pond and aquatic life safely put back into your pond.
If needed we can give you advice and guidance on how to look after your filter and how to properly clean it each time it needs doing.
Now is time for you to enjoy the beauty and tranquillity of the clean pond in your garden!
